LumTale
One promise: your face stays your face — no whitening, no warping, no training on your photo.

Simple, honest pricing.

LumTale is built on a two-door model: keep everything on your own device for free, or step through the cloud door for a premium Lumling Studio render. No dark patterns, no hidden training on your photo, no "free trial" that quietly bills you later.

Why two doors, and why this pricing?

Most avatar apps hide a simple truth: to look good, your photo has to leave your device and get processed somewhere you can't see. LumTale makes that choice visible. Door 1 is genuinely free because it costs us nothing to run — your phone or laptop does the work, and your photo never travels. We'd rather earn your trust than your data.

Door 2 costs real money because it uses a GPU partner's compute to deliver a more refined Lumling portrait. We price it fairly and à la carte: buy one render, a small pack, or a monthly club — no forced subscription, no auto-renewal traps. And whichever door you pick, your face stays faithfully your face: no whitening, no warping, and never used for training.

Pricing FAQ

Can I use Door 1 forever, for free?

Yes. Door 1 is free and always will be. It runs entirely on your device with no account, no upload, and no expiry. We offer it because privacy shouldn't be a paid feature — and because it costs us nothing to let you keep your photo on your own machine.

What's included in a Door 2 purchase?

Every Door 2 purchase includes a high-resolution Lumling render in the style you choose (Lumling Dream or Lumling Toon), a downloadable file, and identity-preserving generation so your features stay yours. Single renders and 5-packs are for personal, non-commercial use. The Lumling Club monthly plan adds a commercial-use license and 30 renders per month.

What about refunds?

We want you to love your portrait. If a render fails or isn't delivered, contact hello@lumtale.com within 14 days and we'll re-run it or refund you — no questions asked. Because renders are personalized digital output, we handle refunds case by case rather than as an automatic "one-click" button, which keeps the price fair for everyone.

Is my photo used for training?

Never. With Door 1 your photo never leaves your device. With Door 2 it goes to a vetted GPU partner strictly to generate your portrait on demand; neither LumTale nor the partner stores or trains on it. That honesty is the whole point of LumTale.
